Time flies ! without one realising it ,we had our 2nd last meeting for the term last night and well as as promised it was fun-filled ,thrilling,and full of excitements.Attendance stood at 22 with 6 Invited guests.
After first timer ASA Chan Siew Beng ACB and Presidential LEE WS ACS speech, meeting started with the 101 Session by Ms Amy Wan ,
Professional Trainer for 20 years took us on the tours of "10 day mental challenge" and aimed at empowering ways to deal with new level of thinking, not to dwell on negativeness, boost self-confidence,acquiring new positive thinking eventually one will become more solution - centred person thus leading to a better ,successful Life !
Samantha Teoi CTM did her first maiden TME and what a change from a normal soft spoken lady to a hands on TME,well done SAM !Speaker Joyce Hue ACS in her story telling speech "Poor City Girl"painted a vivid picture of how a lass from a remote village in Pahang during homecoming to her Kampung enjoyed the freshness,tranquility of the undisturbed nature and climax was how she encountered durians harvest and hundreds of durians rumbled down the hill slope towards her ,what an enchanting story indeed !
Next Speaker Dennis Wee ACS Our Area Governor gave a Keynote address to Toastmasters Members during TLI session,with his good vocal,body language,finesse he managed to inspired the audience on why they should take up roles as Club,Area.Division officials to surge ahead in Toastmasters' journey instead of just being a normal member!
Open evaluation was carried out to benefit all present after that appointed evaluators DTM Dr.Arul and DTM Bernard Louis gave sincere ,heart felt feed backs to the speakers for their improvements .
His follow me song was modified from "I will follow you"and this had the audience dancing,swaying way !
