Good afternoon.
I must thank our vibrant Vice President-Education, DTM Peter Siew for arranged the vibrant final meeting of the Term 2010/2011 yesterday.
A big thank also go to the assignment speakers Toasmaster Kenyu Ho, Toastmaster Dinesh Krishnan, DTM Ho Fong Ming, ACS Chan Siew Peng and Toastmaster Cherrise Tan; our speech evaluators DTM Bernard Louis, DTM Dr A Arulnathan, DTM Dennis Wee, DTM Low Yat Seow and ACG Lee Wei Seong; General Evaluator DTM Tham Chee Wah, our dear Madam AG as the Language Evaluator ACB Lim Lay Kun and timer DTM Bernard Louis; our enthusiatic TME aka IPP uncle Foong. The conduct of the meeting eventually came to the finale to my presidency this term with the club's theme ~ A Voyage of Discovery ~.
Our Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) was conducted smoothly. Besides having gotten the proposal passed during the EGM, we had elected toastmaster Kenyu Ho as the Vice-President Public Relations for next term. This filled up the vacancy of ACG Lee Wei Seong's earlier resignation. Congrat Kenyu!! Thank you Wei Seong for providing leadership opportunity to newer member to excel!
Dearest members, the ship is about to sail to the shore, please be embarked at the Mines on 18th June 2011 for the last round of nagivation, at a real cruise to celebrate our club's achivements and the conduct of Installation Ceremony as to usher the President Elect Bernard Vincent Louis and his team to the start of new term! Let's invite your friends and family members to this celebration together.
Last but not least, I must thank my dearest EXCO ~ Peter Siew, Chee Wah, Victor Ong, Samantha Teoi, Yip WP, Joyce Hue and uncle Foong; our Area B1 Governor ACB Lim Lay Kun, my mentor ACS Lee Wei Seong, Past President DTM Low Yat Seow, Past President DTM Sheila Wong, CTM Amy Wan, Region 14 Advisor DTM A Arulnathan, TLI Chairman DTM Dennis Wee, President Elect DTM Bernard Louis, Incoming VPE Chan Siew Peng for giving me the advices, support and encouragement. It's delighted experience to move the club to greater height with our best of ability at the finish line. Thanks all of you for giving me your kind words and sacrifice your precious time. Your dedication towards the club throughout this wonderful term is fantastic!!!
