The sun has set. Preparation was done. Anticipation was brewing. Excitement was kicking in. Dashing gentlemen walked in, in their best suits and the ladies , in elegant dresses.
It was our Club's 19th Anniversary meeting celebration !

Great camaraderie , laughter and excitement filled the air. With a knock of the gavel, the Sergeant
at Arm Tong Teik Koon, CC, called the Meeting to order. With heartiest thunderous applause and standing ovation from everyone , he announced and welcomed the Club's charter members plus recognition of past presidents .This was followed by Madam President Cindy Chan, CC welcome address speech and the Toastmaster of the Evening Ho Ken Yu, ACB ALB took control of the meeting.

The first session of the meeting started with introduction of the technical role players - Grammarian G. Subramaniam,, DTM, AH Counter Evendi Cheong, ACB ALB, Timer Constance Tng and the General Evaluator Peter Siew, DTM . Then the exciting table topics session kicked off by the ever humorous table topics master Foong Weng Tuck ,ACS CL.

Four brave speakers volunteered very quickly to step up to the challenge of impromptu speaking fielded by the table topics master, Foong Weng Tuck ACS CL.

The meeting took a 15 minutes break for birthday celebration, refreshment ,merriment and catching up amongst the members and guests. Birthday babies were Yip Wah Pung, Lynda Lian, Lim Lay Kun and Cherry Ho.
The second session continued with prepared speeches from 4 speakers , Elysia Teh CC, Chan Foong Yen, Sharon Foo CC and Serena Pang ACS ALB.

The next session was the most important session of the meeting, the evaluation , led by the General Evaluator Peter Siew, DTM. Evaluators of the evening were Lee Wei Seong, ACG CL, Lim Lay Kun DTM, Liew Ke Bo , Stuart Tang, CC CL and Bernard Louis, DTM.

The awards ceremony was the final session of the whole meeting which was voted by the members and guests for the most well deserved speaker, evaluator and best dressed King and Queen of the evening. The best table topics speaker was Sheila Wong, DTM, the best prepared speech speaker was Sharon Foo, CC, the best evaluator was Lim Lay Kun , DTM and the best dressed King and Queen were Stuart Tang, CC CL and Serena Pang ,ACS ALB.
