A great voyage of the new decade.

Ahoy! Ahoy! We set sail to a bright journey in 2011. Not only did we usher in the first meeting of 2011 with great speeches and exceptional evaluations, we had lots of fun, laughter and not to mention good food.

On January 13th, we conducted our D'Utama Advanced Toastmasters Meeting in Mage Cafe, Damansara Jaya. We had a nice food lined up for us, from Assam Laksa to Nasi Ulam. It was a different setting, very unconventional. We sat in tables of 4, happily chatting and eating. And when it was time for our meeting to commence, all eyes and attention turned to our Toastmaster of the Evening, Samantha Teoi. She was a cheer to usher in excitement of the meeting and led us through the night with her detailed emceeing.

Thoughout the night, we had Cherries teaching us how to be a model, Dinesh teaching us the A-Zs of golfing, Illya telling us about hop and shared with us a beutiful story and finally Foong Weng Tuck left us all in reflective mode with his speech about Happiness.

This January, we had a table topic session. All in anticipation for the upcoming table topics session .... and for the Table Topics Session, we had the 'Insanely funny and energetic' Dennis Wee as the table topics master. He led us through 2010 with topics on past and present new year resolutions.

Of course, no meeting would be such a success without the evaluators. So good job to alll the evaluators and thank you for making D'Utama Advanced stand out. Thanks to Julian Gan, the general evaluator who led his team of evaluators.
