In the Humorous speech contest, Chan Siew Peng did well, but she wasn’t placed – which was really unfortunate. I believed it was a really close fight amongst the three candidates. With regards to Speech Evaluation contest on Bernard's performance – he is truly an evaluator extraordinaire! Predictably, Bernard Louis was adjudged the champion. And given this victory, Bernard will meet other Area champions at the Division-level contest on September 25. He is a strong contender to win at Division-level – that I’m sure!
