The meeting started at 7.30pm and the ASA, DTM Bernard Louis welcomed everyone in attendance. It is our privilege to have the District 51 Governor, DTM Ritchie Chong to be with us throughout the meeting. The Toastmasters Leadership Institute Chairman, DTM Sandrasegaran was the General Evaluator as well as an assignment speaker.
The President of MAS Mawar, ACB Emil Anthony was the invocator. After the presidential address by Uncle Foong, the Table Topics Master, CC Tan Liu Hun (from MAS) took the floor. She has made all the "volunteers" to speak on various topics surrounded around the Toastmasters experience.
Before the 20 minutes break, there was a birthday celebration for the following birthday boys and girls whose birthday fall on January, February & March together with other members from MAS clubs :

We had 5 speakers attempting various assignment after the break. 3 of them were attempting their assignment from Basic Communication & Leadership Manual i.e. SK Khor - assignment #7 Research Your Topic (title: Creating A Safer Online Family), DTM Sandrasegaran - assignment #2 Organize Your Speech (title: Fear) and Caroline Lai - assignment #1 The Ice Breaker (title: Hi! I am Caroline).
We then had ACB Jamila Khan attempting her assignment #5 Bringing History to Life from Storytelling advanced manual, with the speech title: Going Down Memory Lane. This was followed by ACS Nancy Liew who was doing her assignment #1 The Entertaining Speech from the Entertaining Speeches advanced manual, with speech title: My First Parasailing Experience.
The speakers and members in attendance has benefited tremendously from the evaluation given by various evaluators and role players.
