D'U Advanced Toastmasters Club had a most exciting Speech Evaluation Contest last night, on 05 September 2007, with eight fantastic contestants taking part, and supported by 30 LOVELY audience.
The test speech was superbly delivered By Toastmaster Carol Chong of D'Utama Toastmasters Club. Her speech was entitled "Dress to Impress". Her eloquence and flair attracted the audience and contestants.
All contestants tried very hard to compete with each other. But we could only have three winners. They are:
1)Tham Chee Wah, DTM
2) Gary Wong, CTM
3) Stuart Tang, ATMS
Congratulations to them and to all the other participants for making the contest possible!!!
President Lee Wei Seong, ACG CL thanked Contest Chair Yip Wah Pung, ATMB for gracing the occasion to make it a successful event.
Night also celebrated President Lee Wei Seong's birthday who was born in the year of Merdeka and turned 49 ++. Many Happy returns of the day, Mr President!
